Lanta Thai is a hidden gem and I wish I had known about it sooner! The food is delicious, and at a more affordable price than most other places too! Food: - We ordered the golden cups because it seemed the most unique among the list of appetizers. I was a bit hesitant about the ground chicken at first, fearing that it might be too dry. To my surprise, the chicken was not dry at all! It was nicely stir fried with the other vegetables. The wonton cups were thin and crispy! They paired well together along with the sweet chili sauce. - The pad kee mao had a deep soy sauce flavor, but wasn't too salty at the same time. The noodles, vegetables and beef were stir fried together well, resulting in perfect textures. The spice level was just right too--just enough kick to get that spicy element, but not too much where it covers the flavor of the dish. - The Penang curry was milder in the sense that there wasn't a strong coconut or aromatic flavor punching through, but it had a pleasant sweet flavor that balanced the whole bowl of ingredients. Ambiance: The plaza the restaurant is located in is lowkey shady LOL and I barely found Lanta because their store sign was small, but they're located in the middle of the group of stores. I went in at 6:30pm on Friday and it was packed! Although all the tables were filled, I only had to wait a few minutes before I was seated. The interior was nicely decorated and had a modern vibe to it. I also really appreciated the tableware they used. They were unique in style but also so cute! Service: Service wasn't above and beyond, but the servers were nice and we got everything we needed, so I have no complaints. Parking: Although the parking lot behind the restaurant has a good amount of spots, most of them were filled when I arrived, so you may have to wait a bit depending on how busy it is when you go!

So happy to have fond this gem AND for delivery also! Small menu but I think that's the magic behind it. The Lanta Pad Thai was delicious! Light and so flavorful, the exact amount of spice to enjoy it. Spicy Pork was very well seasoned and it was a lingering spice, will order again. We want to go in and eat at the location next time!

They have great lunch specials! I had the chicken pad Thai. It came with rice, an egg roll with sweet and sour sauce and a side salad. Everything was tasty. I do wish the pad Thai would have had some crushed peanut on top, but it was still great. Highly recommend their lunch menu. I did take out. It was quick and the staff was friendly.

I recommend coming to this spot if you're in the area and want good Thai food! The inside is clean and can get packed real fast. We ordered the lunch specials which came with an entree, cabbage soup, and salad. Everything was very flavorful!

Nested in a hidden corner in Orange, I was not expecting the quality Lanta Thai Fusion delivered. The restaurant was small, but there are plenty of parking in the shared parking lot. We came here on a Tuesday evening for dinner and was surprised to see that there was quite some groups dining in and doing take out also. My friends and I shared the curry roti appetizer and I ordered my standard pad Thai with tofu. To me, pad Thai is the default for me to assess if the restaurant is good or not. We were all obsessed with the peanut curry sauce that came with the roti and asked to keep the curry sauce after our mains arrived so that we can mix more curry with our main dishes lol. Lanta Thai definitely surprised me with the quality of their food - not that I had any doubt, but I truly was not expecting much for a restaurant tucked away in a quiet corner of orange county. Plates were massive and definitely shareable if you want to try a few options when coming with a group!

Dined here with my sister while on our way to LA for a concert and we have been thinking more about this Thai food than the concert withdrawals. Yes, it's that's amazing! We love our Thai food to begin with and have had our fair share at different restaurants, but Lanta is just prepared and flavored perfectly to our liking. The Shrimp Tom Kha was on point with how sour, creamy, and spicy it was. The fresh veggies balanced everything out. We love spicy Thai fried rice and asked for basil to be added and with some spice too and it came out fluffy and amazing. THE PAD THAI, I would drive an hour to Lanta just for that alone. It had the smoky, salty, sweet, and sour combination that a pad Thai should, and noodles actually had a bite to it, not soggy at all. The ladies hosting provided attentive and personalized service to all their tables and I can tell a lot of locals dine here regularly. The restaurant is on the smaller size and quiet, but definitely picks up pace during dinner times. I for sure can't wait too long to come back!!

The Thai food here is absolutely amazing! The pad Thai is really saucy and flavorful. The curry is rich and incredibly delicious. I really loved both of what I got but the curry takes the cake for me. The red curry was truly my favorite and the shrimp in it was super tender and juicy. It was so much food for two people and it was also pretty affordable for Thai food prices. The service was wonderful here because they were incredibly kind and attentive. I can't emphasize enough how great this place is!

I would give Lanta a 4.5. The service was good and fast. It's a cute whole in the wall, very casual spot. Everything we got was under $60 for 2!!! FOOD: Papaya salad was good! I recommend getting it along with the chicken sauté (smaller than expected) or fried chicken wings. Combine and it's delicious! Pad Thai, you can never go wrong with. I will say the sauce was on the heavier side and pretty sweet. Pineapple fried rice with shrimp was okay. The rice is curry fried rice which I've had better but was still enjoyable. COCONUT ICE CREAM & SWEET STICKY RICE was SO good, I loved it! Star of the show. The ice cream was delicious with coconut shaving and pieces inside and great sweet sticky rice on the bottom.

We came during the weekday lunch rush, and it was very apparent that Lanta is a popular restaurant among the locals, both residents and office workers. The restaurant was absolutely packed at noon on a Wednesday. That's typically a good sign. Lanta offers are a pretty reasonable lunch special that consists of a salad, soup and entree for $11.50 or $12.50, which is a great deal in these times. Lanta's Pad Thai was very good and not overly sweet or tangy. It was very well crafted. One odd observation is that they certainly invested heavily in their dishware. The plating was above average for a small restaurant. There was plenty of parking.

My new fave Thai spot! We got here around 2pm on a weekend and got the lunch special. The price makes me so happy :,) The waitresses are very friendly and quick. They came to our table often to make sure everything was ok. The restaurant is very clean and there were plenty of seats when we got there. Parking is easy as well. The food is so good! Salad, Eggroll, and cabbage soup were all good and satisfying. I got the tofu pad Thai and it was so flavorful. We also got calamari on the side and it was fine.
